Daffodils and narcissus, although often confused, have subtle differences that are worth distinguishing to better appreciate their unique beauty.

Daffodils:
Daffodils are a variety of narcissus. They are characterized by their bright yellow flowers, often with several flowers per stem. Daffodil leaves are generally flat and narrow. Daffodils:
Daffodils are a more diverse family with several varieties. Unlike jonquils, daffodils can have flowers of various colors, such as white, orange, and pink, in addition to yellow. Their flowers can be single or double, with one or more flowers per stem. Daffodil leaves are often wider and more rounded than those of daffodils.
To summarize all Daffodil bulbs are Narcissus but not all Narcissus bulbs will produce Daffodils, Daffodils are simply Daffodils whose color is yellow!
